Not every Ranger has a wet belt. The Ranger has been sold with several diesel and petrol engines, and only some run a belt in oil. The cards below are background from Ford and parts sources. Whether Seb's package applies to your Ranger is confirmed from your registration.
Ford sold the Ranger in Europe from 2019 with the 2.0 EcoBlue in 130PS, 170PS and 213PS bi-turbo forms. Parts catalogue data shows two belts on this engine: a camshaft belt and an oil pump belt. This is background information, not confirmation that Seb's package suits your Ranger.
Our sources did not confirm the belt or chain arrangement on Rangers from the 2022 model change. Ford Australia has said its updated 2.0 single-turbo moves to a timing chain from model year 26.50, but we found no UK statement. Do not assume either way, send your registration.
The older 2.2 and 3.2 Duratorq diesels are not described as belt-in-oil engines in the sources we reviewed. Seb has not listed a package for them, or for the 3.0 V6 diesel, the 3.0 petrol Raptor or the 2.3 plug-in hybrid. If you have one, ask Seb.
The DVLA vehicle check shows engine size and fuel type, not an engine code, so it cannot tell you whether your Ranger is single or bi-turbo or which belt it has. Seb confirms the applicable engine and package from your registration. A Ford dealer can also confirm from your VIN.

All genuine parts. Parts and labour included.
Water pump replacement is an optional extra and is not part of the package price.
What to look out for on a Ford Ranger with a belt-in-oil engine.
As a general precaution, if the oil pressure warning light comes on or stays on, stop somewhere safe, switch off and check the oil level before going further. This is urgent, not a routine booking. We have not read the wording in the Ranger handbook, so check yours.
Ford has linked high oil dilution and degradation to reduced belt life on affected Transit vans. Short trips can dilute oil with fuel, so a Ranger used mostly for short runs is worth mentioning to Seb.
Component makers say the oil pump strainer should be checked for debris whenever this belt is replaced.
Ford's Transit letter lists warning messages and loss of power as signs of a failing belt. We found no Ranger-specific list, and other faults can cause the same symptoms.
These signs can have other causes and do not prove a belt fault. A wet belt does not always give a clear warning before it fails, so do not rely on symptoms alone. If you notice any of them, send Seb your registration and what you have seen.
We could not find a Ford interval written specifically for the Ranger. Garage and dealer pages quote 10 years with either 144,000 or 150,000 miles, but those are not Ford documents. Ford's reported change to 6 years or 100,000 miles was for the Transit, Transit Custom and Tourneo, and we cannot say whether it applies to the Ranger. This page therefore gives no single interval.
Check the service schedule for your Ranger, or ask a Ford dealer with your VIN.
Seb has described the Ranger package as having the same inclusions as his 2.0 EcoBlue package: the timing belt kit, oil pump belt, auxiliary and water pump belt and timing cover, 10 litres of engine oil and an oil filter, the oil strainer and sump pan, and the crankshaft idler pulley and crankshaft pulley bolts. The water pump itself is a separate £100 extra. Seb confirms the applicable engine and package from your registration before he orders parts.

Ford's service guidance treats towing, moderate to maximum loads, off-road conditions and short journeys as severe use. Tell Seb how your Ranger is used when you message him, so he has the full picture when he confirms your quote.
Ford UK's service portfolio says the timing belt is covered during the base warranty and Ford Protect up to the first scheduled replacement. Ford also says servicing outside its network is allowed if the vehicle is serviced to Ford's recommendations with suitable parts and the invoices are kept. Read the Ford service portfolio for the full wording.
Roses cannot say how paying for independent belt work would affect your cover or any goodwill request. If your Ranger is still under Ford warranty or Ford Protect, check with Ford before arranging a belt replacement.
Message Seb on WhatsApp with your registration, postcode and the work you need.
Seb confirms your engine and the package that fits it, then replies with your price.

Before going out on my own I worked on BMW, Škoda, Citroën, Peugeot and Ford vehicles, and most recently with the RAC's mobile mechanics division. At TrustFord I regularly carried out around three Transit timing belt replacements a week. My TrustFord belt work was on Transits, so I confirm your Ranger's engine and parts before I quote.
TrustFord experience is from Seb's past employment. Every job carries a 12-month parts and labour warranty. Roses Mobile Mechanics is an independent business, not affiliated with or endorsed by BMW, Škoda, Ford, Citroën, Peugeot, Vauxhall, Stellantis or the RAC.

Parts data shows a belt running in oil on the 2.0 EcoBlue Ranger, sold in Europe from 2019. The older 2.2 and 3.2 Duratorq diesels are not described as belt-in-oil engines in the sources we reviewed. Which engine you have, and whether Seb's package applies, is confirmed from your registration.
Ford sold it in the European Ranger from 2019. Whether a newer Ranger has a belt or a chain is something we could not confirm, so Seb checks by registration.
Seb's package is £1,200. A full service can be added for £150 and water pump replacement for £100. Seb confirms the applicable engine and package from your registration, and gives you your final quote before booking.
Yes, labour is included in the package price, and no VAT is added to Seb's prices.
Any additional work is quoted and agreed before we proceed.
No. It is for Rangers fitted with a wet belt, and not every Ranger has one. Seb confirms the applicable engine and package from your registration, so send it before you book.
The engine family and the two-belt layout look the same in parts data. We could not confirm that the interval, access or oil specification are identical, so Ranger work is quoted separately.
We could not find a Ford interval written for the Ranger, and the reported change to 6 years or 100,000 miles was for vans. Check your Ranger service schedule or ask a Ford dealer with your VIN. A belt can be due even when the truck drives normally.
Ford treats towing, heavy loads, off-road use and short journeys as severe use. We found no shorter belt interval for it, but tell Seb how you use the Ranger.
Ford UK's service portfolio says the timing belt is covered under the base warranty and Ford Protect up to the first scheduled replacement. Check with Ford before arranging work, because Roses cannot say how independent work affects your cover.
Ford Australia has said its updated 2.0 single-turbo moves to a timing chain from model year 26.50. We found no UK or European statement, so do not assume a UK Ranger has either.
No. The package includes the auxiliary and water pump belt, which is a belt. Replacing the water pump itself is an optional £100 extra.
Yes, in Woking, Guildford and Farnborough. Tell Seb where the Ranger will be parked and he will confirm whether the job can be done there.
Yes. All services carry a 12-month parts and labour warranty.
